Polymers are then added to the sludge to aid separation. Filtered effluent passes through the micro pores of the dewatering bag’s fabric and flows back to the holding ponds. The solids in the dewatering bag are allowed to accumulate and once the bag is full, can be disposed of in landfills or applied back to land.
